About
Matthew Thue is an Instructor in the Department of Business Administration & Marketing. He holds bachelor's degrees from Utah State University in both finance and economics, and a juris doctor from the S.J. Quinney School of Law at the University of Utah.
In addition to teaching, Matt maintains a limited appellate practice, where he focuses primarily on the due process protections afforded through the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments. He is an active member of the California State Bar, the California Appellate Defense Counsel and the Academy of Legal Studies in Business. He has published a variety of peer-reviewed papers related to his legal work and teaching interests.
Matt lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, Tara, their daughter and son, Quinn and Ivan.
