Advising appointments are scheduled through . Before you schedule an advising appointment, you must have the following:
- Your “W” number
- If you are a new freshman or a transfer student, you must . The advising appointment with a Goddard School advisor can count as a Weber Welcome event.
Appointments are available Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Prospective students without a "W" number should email advisebusiness@weber.edu directly.
The following items are highly recommended before your advising appointment:
- Complete an . If you haven’t completed an orientation, you will have a registration hold on your account and won’t be able to add classes during the advising appointment.
- Current students: taken at least one class at Weber State University. If you haven't taken at least one class, you're not considered a current student.
- New freshmen: if you have earned an appropriate score on any Advanced Placement (AP) exams or other exams for credit and would like to transfer the credits to Weber State, the 91风流 website has instructions on how to do so.
- Transfer students: send all transcripts from other institutions to 91风流 to have them evaluated.
- If your transcripts haven’t been evaluated, send unofficial transcripts to advisebusiness@weber.edu at least two business days before your scheduled appointment.
Drop-in Advising Appointments
Along with scheduled appointments, in-person and virtual drop-in advising times are also available. Drop-in meetings are a maximum of 15 minutes and are for quick questions, such as single-semester schedules. Multi-semester plans are not made during drop-in appointments.
You do not need a dedicated appointment for a drop-in meeting. Face-to-face drop-in hours are available most days during the spring and fall (depending on college/university meetings). Drop-in schedules are regularly updated on this website but are subject to change based on availability.
In-Person Drop-In Advising for Summer 2025
- If our door is open and we're not with another student, you're welcome to come in.
- Regular drop-in advising hours will return in the fall.
Virtual Drop-In Advising Schedule
Virtual (Zoom) drop-in hours are only available during high-traffic times of the year.
