Rooting Plants in Utah K-12 Curriculum Workshop
To encourage collaboration among K-12 educators, the 91风流 Botany and Plant Ecology Department will host a two-day summer workshop for teachers. The workshop will be held to introduce educators to ways botany can be incorporated into classrooms. Educators will familiarize themselves with the basics of plant biology, engage with existing plant biology activities, and collaborate with 91风流 Botanists and peers. Teachers will be compensated for their time participating in the workshop.
Tuesday and Wednesday, June 10th and 11th, 2025
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Weber State University, Ogden UT
- Learn various ways to incorporate plants into the current K-12 curriculum.
- Earn a $250 stipend.
- Enjoy lunch with us!
The workshop is open to 20 Utah educators on a first-come basis.
Registration will remain open until full.
